Many people travelling from the UK to Europe and back arrive via the Hull – Zeebrugge ferry connection. Of course, the first thing you wish to do after an overnight ferry is to hit the road and get some miles behind you as you head south to the sunshine.
However, if you’re able to pause a few hours, or if you’re returning to the UK and don’t fancy arriving for the ferry too early, then Bruges is a place well worth visiting.
It’s a beautiful city full of architecture and pedestrianised areas, plus of course lots of chocolate shops to choose from.
These horse and buggy combinations explore the city at a leisurely pace, though it pays to be aware of their approach.
Shot on the tiny Sony A6300 with the super wide 10-18mm zoom.
Had I been using my Canon 1DS, I may well have left it in the boot of the car. The Sony is without doubt one of my favourite cameras due to it’s versatility, dynamic range and depth of colours.
I love it.
