About Neill Watson

I consider myself very lucky. I can't think of a better way to earn a living than photography and journalism. To be able to specialise in shooting and writing about the subjects I love - automobiles, aerial and aviation, plus buildings, architecture and construction is doubly rewarding.
Regular commissions include everything from construction site work to large scale aerial oblique photography as well as working with professional racing drivers shooting cars in the north of Sweden. Because of this passion, I find myself able to write with conviction for editorial clients worldwide, supplying photojournalism on a variety of subjects.

Car Photography

I work closely with a wide variety of clients to create location car photography both in the UK and overseas. Client list includes monthly motoring magazines, tuner magazines, race schools, rally schools and prestige car dealerships. I am also regularly comissioned to create a record of car enthusiast's collections and have a car portrait service to immortalise your pride and joy as a fine art car print and car photo book. I have worked in and around automobiles all my working life and have long experience of creating the images you need safely and within your budget.

Aerial Photography

Based in North Yorkshire, but working throughout Europe and wolrdwide, I shoot with state-of-the-art, high-resolution digital camera equipment. This means that the photography you use can be licensed to be reproduced in any printed media at any size. If you are new to the requirements for successful aerial photography, I can advise on all technical and creative aspects of producing succesful aerial photographs, including sourcing pilots, aircraft and helicopters as well as permissions and exemptions if required.

Clients includes such diverse areas as large PLC's and corporate groups, construction companies, CGI and planning design as well as owners of beautiful and distincive properties.

Architectural / Construction Photography

If you have a building at or nearing completion, or a site under construction that needs to be photographed, please contact me. Everything from aerial photographs of the site for planning and CGI rendering to working alongside your construction workforce to record the progress. Then finally recording the finished project to show both the overview and the details of the building.

Aditionally, I supply photojournalism to a variety of publications and house magazines, so if you have a home or building that merits a feature, please get in touch, I'm allways interested to hear of your projects.

Large Format Prints

Large format prints can be ordered through the picture library at Octane Library. Just create an account, which only takes moments, then select the pictures you'd like and the print sizes.
