Video

With the exciting new methods of content distribution such as iPhones and iPads come new ways of storytelling. A photographer or writer in today’s world needs to add the ability to create video content for clients as more and more publications use video to add value.

Many traditional print publishers struggle to find ways to create and use video content profitably and effectively. Neill Watson is helping many print publishers to create exciting new dimension to their websites and iTunes apps by creating exciting video their advertisers will love to sponsor.

The two short movies below are both examples of what can be achieved on a budget to attract editorial audiences. Neill Watson was one of the first photographers to use the new generation of HD-DSLR cameras from Canon to create high definition video in 2009 with the Ice Driver movie, shot in the frozen wilderness of Sweden, the camera often rigged outside a high speed rally car at temperatures below -25c.

The Bridge was shot as a personal project, purely because of my fascination with a newly constructed bridge close to my house. The more I looked at the architecture of it, the more I saw really interesting design details.
